Lots Of Work!

Our house is getting a face lift! We have a man in our ward that is extremely handy and he is doing a lot of work for us...i should have taken some before photos but i forgot so when he is done i will take pics of the finished product for you all to enjoy! We had him put bead board up in the nursery, which i am super excited to paint and get it all decorated-oh and he built us a sweet shelf on one wall! We also had him put bead board up in our little half bathroom...it's so little that you can't really paint it crazy colors because it would seem even smaller, but we figured with bead board we could paint that white and do a more fun color on the top half! Ok next we are having him build a few more shelves in our little pantry/storage area(it goes back under our stairs)...we only had 2 sets of shelves in there and all this floor storage space...so it's kind of hard to explain but it's a weird shape so on a couple of the walls we are having him build us some shelves. Last we are having him do some stuff to our garage. He is building Brad a little cubby area for all of his work clothes and shoes, then he is building shelves down one wall and also putting in a door that goes from the garage to outside, so that we don't have to walk all the way around the house/through the house to go from the back yard to inside and track dirt and mud everywhere. Sorry this is lots of info but i'm at work and it's slow today because it snowed, so i'm a little bored....so on i go!
Next week we are having Custom Marble come out and put a big bathtub/shower in our bathroom! I'm SOOOOO EXCITED! Since I began my second trimester I suddenly LOVE taking baths! We do have a bath in the other bathroom...but i swear the tub they put in there was made for a trailor house/mobile home! It is SO tiny...i barely fit in it and can barely get my arms down by my side...poor Brad isn't that fortunate! His legs are all curled up and one arm hangs over the edge of the tub while the other arm has to be laid over his chest, because the wall bows out so that you can set shampoo and stuff on it! Very exciting stuff! We can't wait! I will be sure to get pictures of the finished products up!!
