THEY ARE HERE!

Birth Story: We went into the hospital at 8 pm on tuesday, i got and epidural and started pitocin at midnight and i was at a 5. at 4 am i was only a 6 and i was getting frustrated so i started trying to change positions and put more pressure on my cervix around 4:45. At 5 the nurse came it and told me the position i was in was putting stress on one of the babies so i needed to change positions, so i went from sitting up to laying on my left side, she said she would wait to check me again until 5:30 so i would be comfortable for awhile, but i told her i was feeling a lot of pressure all of a sudden and was fairly sure a baby was on it's way, so she checked me at 5:20 and said i was complete and went to get Dr. Hughes, but as the Dr was coming in i told brad he needed to move the blanket because there was a head coming out. Sure enough there was so he called over to Dr hughes and said the head is coming out so she is running over asking for her other glove to catch the baby and Little Elsie Corrine was born at 5:25am weighing 6.6 and was 19 inches long

Emmett Cash followed 22 minutes later at 5:47am weighing 6 lbs and was 18 inches long

he was hysterical until...

grandma mcintyre put her hand on him and he instantly calmed down. So cute!

trying to nurse tandem for my first time, people were in the room so i had to cover my head to see, eventually gave up and couldn't use a blanket to do it.
