June is here!

I can't believe we are already a week into JUNE!!! Where has the time gone!?! Henley is already 4 months old! CRAZY! We've had quite a few nice days and hopefully it keeps getting warmer, instead of this hot and cold business we've had going on for the past couple months!

baby chicks. yes they are in our bathroom. brad brought home 50 of em to take to ben and maria's since they have a coop and we had to keep them overnight. Brad first told me we would keep them in the garage- i quickly reminded him that we had a cat! not such a good mix. so i made them a home in our little bathroom with tarp and newspaper, and big barriers to keep them in their designated area. i know i'm not meant to deal with small animals...i had to save 3 chicks, brad told me later that he just wanted to take them and throw them outside so i'd never know but he didn't, and so we got washcloths and wrapped them up and dried them off and kept them warm. thankfully they were all alive and well when i sent them off. it's hard to see little baby animals struggle i'm okay when they get old and they have to kill em so we can eat em but as little babies i just can't handle it.
are you dying laughing yet?! haha we aren't the nicest parents we like to torture our children for our own enjoyment :) she'll hate us when she's older but for now i hope you enjoy this picture as much as we do!
