Christmas Eve Festivities

Our Christmas was rather fantastic this year! Definitely one for the books! :) we'll get to why i specifically say that in another post. Here are some pics from christmas eve. they aren't in order but you'll get the idea. We spent christmas with the Berg family this year- and in our family it's tradition on Christmas eve to have fondu for dinner. This tradition started way back in the day when there were only 3 kids in the berg family- my grandma pollock started this to slow things down for the evening since little kids are always so excited on this evening. Then tradition continued and Amy made our christmas program- i don't know when this started but she has been doing it for quite a while because we got bored of always just acting out the nativity while my dad read it. I didn't get as many pics from this evening as i would have liked but what i have will have to do- so here you go

yes that is a particle of food in the bottom of that glass. Growing up we had assigned seats at the dinner table because my mom was tired of us fighting over who sat where. I sat by my dad, on his right, and i would say that almost every meal, in some way, he would drop food in my glass! Well Amy happened to sit there and that is what she found when we were cleaning up the table. pretty funny

brad and i also got jammies from my parents and we got and from the Blauers we got an ice cream scoop, a popcorn bowl, the game Clue, and the game Rage!
Brad's family decided to go to mexico for christmas and they did a 12 days of christmas for us and it was a blast! We got some awesome stuff! Heston's favorite was by far the nativity they got us...he would walk around with the stable because it played music (away in a manger) my favorites from them were my jammies and the book The 17 Second Miracle.
