Winter Wonderland

December has started our beautifully! It started snowing november 30th and we've been getting the goods ever since! (I hope it continues!) Brad and i are on a hunt for an artificial christmas tree, terrible- i know. Believe me, i'm the last person who would have thought i would end up with a fake tree in my life but i have succumb to the pressure. just joking, i do love real trees, but it is far more convenient to get a fake one. Cheaper in the long run, no needles to constantly vacuum up, and no tree tipping over in the middle of the night scaring me half to death! Brad and i went on a hunt saturday for a tree...to no avail but while at home depot the workers informed us that santa was there- so we decided to give it a try, thinking to ourselves that heston would scream his head off...instead this happened...
he didn't mind santa one bit! this was a smart santa, and he gave heston the candy first and then we put him on his lap. (Our poor kid could be kidnapped so easily if ever offered candy) the big bonus with this santa was that i took my own picture and it didn't cost us any money! whoo hoo!

our second snow storm the morning of the 4th. It had been foggy the night before and made my favorite trees! they were completely white because the mist had frozen to them and then it snowed on top of it!

heston playing in grandma mcintyres snow boots! he couldn't walk in them because they were too heavy and stuck to the floor...so he soon discovered he could walk around with them on his arms rather than his legs.
